“Lisa is an amazing hypnotherapist! A great listener, with a keen and compassionate sense for where to take each session. Her energy is light and comforting and if you are looking to gently heal from past pain, gracefully evolve beyond a challenging obstacle, or experience a general tune-up to up-level your life and prepare yourself for a brighter future, you are in great hands. You'll need fewer vacations, while she’s on your team. I’ve benefited greatly from working with her and I cannot recommend her highly enough!”

FAQ
What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a natural, altered state of consciousness or awareness. It’s a focused state of relaxation and you are in control the whole time. There are a few types of situations you may already be familiar with that are considered hypnotic states. Right before sleep and right upon waking are natural hypnotic states. Daydreaming can be considered a hypnotic state. The hypnotic state is similar to what you might feel when you’re absorbed in a movie or when you’re driving your car but thinking about work or what you’ll eat for dinner.
What is hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy uses hypnosis to communicate with the subconscious mind directly. Through connecting to the subconscious and bypassing the critical factor of the mind, we’re able to to get information straight from the subconscious, the storehouse of all our memories, beliefs, past experiences, imagination, and more.
What can hypnotherapy be used for?
Hypnotherapy can be used to help many things—such as confidence, self-esteem, self-worth, performance, focus, memory, life purpose, releasing blocks, shifting limiting beliefs, working through inner conflicts, pain management, fears, phobias, building new habits, and letting go of unwanted habits.
How do I know if hypnotherapy is right for me?
Hypnotherapy is effective in addressing a wide array of issues, but not all. It can help with fears, phobias, self-confidence, test-taking, life purpose, career advancement, quitting smoking, improving health, changing habits, and breaking through limiting beliefs, mental blocks, or feeling stuck. It can help with attaining personal goals in finances, career, and relationships. It can help with fears of public speaking and with self-expression and creativity. Hypnotherapy is not recommended for anyone with epilepsy, in treatment for any kind of psychosis, or taking psychotropic medications.
How long does hypnotherapy take to see results?
Change takes place in a few ways: immediately, over time, or even retrospectively (where you look back and realize that you’ve changed but didn’t necessarily see the changes while they were occurring). Results depend on the person and the issue, but you may experience a profound shift in 4-6 sessions.
Is there anyone for whom hypnotherapy may not be appropriate?
Hypnotherapy is not recommended for anyone with epilepsy, in treatment for any kind of psychosis, or taking psychotropic medications.
